Vidhu’s Eklavya receives a ‘U’ certificate

Vidhu Vinod Chopra is known for dishing out healthy cinema in its most simplest of ways. The producer-director who believes in a family entertainment concept than a skin-show and sleazy act, got a ‘U’ certificate from the Censor board Ratings for his film ‘Eklavya- The Royal Guard.

For years Vidhu Vinod Chopra gave us family entertainers like PARINDA, 1942 A LOVE STORY, MISSION KASHMIR, MUNNABHAI MBBS, PARINEETA and LAGE RAHO MUNNABHAI, which has been cleared by the censor board without any pre-release hiccups. Even this time, Vidhu’s film Eklavya got clearance for the Universal category without a single cut in the film.

The film promises to be a treat for its audiences with an immaculate storyline in the form of narrative, big star-cast and mesmerising visuals. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Vidya Balan, Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani, Jimmy Shergill, Raima Sen and Sharmila Tagore and releases on Feb 16th at the theatres.
