‘I See You’ gets weak opening

The release of a film in the last week of the year may not always be a good idea especially if you have a poor script as in the case of Arjun Rampal and newcomer Vipasha starrer ‘I See You’. The film got poor opening all over.

Arjun Rampal’s first venture as a producer got a weak opening despite the Christmas weekend opportunity. The film opened with 10-15% collections in its first week. The film’s poor start was expected as the new year is nearing . The records clearly state that cinema-goers don’t choose to visit the theatres at the New Year Eve’s celebration. So, probably, a not so apt to release the film.

The reason is clear as to why Kudiyon Ka Zamaana and then Anwar got postponed to early and late January releases.
