The Yash Raj film brought Kajol into the main lead again. Aamir’s portrayal of a terrorist was appreciated all over. The film did well at all the circuits earning a net gross of Rs. 53.13 Crores and had a running of over 10 weeks at the theatres. The music did great business with smash hit songs like “Chand Sifarish”.

Synopsis: Zooni, a blind Kashmiri girl, meets Rehan Qadri (Aamir Khan), a local tour guide and an incorrigible flirt. Zooni’s friends warn her against him but she chooses to ignore them. It is now her time to discover life, and love. Rehan is fascinated by Zooni. Zooni sees Delhi, life and love like she never has before, because of Rehan. What Zooni doesn’t know is that Rehan is a terrorist. Before she realises she is already carrying his child. Later on Rehan meets Zooni again, he decides to leave the road of wrong-doing. But fate has terror in store for them.

The film is a sensitive and emotional saga of a terrorist. It explores the soft side of a rough man who gives into love and meets his fate. The film has beautiful art direction and visual ecstasy. The film has a good script and some memorable dialogues. The film has good performances from the actors. The first half is entertaining with Aamir playing the flirt. The second half gets a little dull with the narration getting slow. The climax is captivating laced with deeper emotional turmoil between the romantic pair.
