Critical acclaim for Sameera in serious cinema

Sameera Reddy was applauded by the critics of serious cinema genre for her moving performance in Bengali film Kaalpurush. Her movie won the prestigious National Award and won accolades for her role in the movie.

Sameera Reddy has proved herself as an actress with this Bengali film and has also bagged director Buddhadeva Dasgupta’s second Untitled film as well. He even complimented the actress by comparing her with the art films’ legend Smita Patil.

While, working in the Bengali films, Sameera has developed a fondness for Beangali cuisine, culture and of course, the language. She is at present shooting in Kolkata for Dasgupta’s second film with her. Her forthcoming releases are Fool and Final, Benaam and Ghulami.
