Tony brings news on Krrish, Don 2 and Dhoom 3
It has been a busy few weeks, being the year-end, we here at RS are working hard on all the year-end features. The festive period usually brings something nice for the readers of RS, and this year will be no exception. In fact the good folks here have arranged even more end of the year features… some you might have already read… and some you will get to read in the coming days. We have also this year began the all new RS Bollywood Awards. The visitors were asked to nominate, and then only yesterday the final nominations were annouced. Nothing unexpected. Now we have been asking you to vote. Hope you are. Are you? The final list of winners will be announced end of next week. Now to my column…
Abhi: Hey Tony, you must be so happy. It seems the news that you reported about Krrish battling himself in the next Krrish film is true. Wow, how did you know, so soon?
Tony: I actually reported that a good few months ago. I also reported that Rakesh Roshan wanted to see the outcomes of both Don and Dhoom 2. To see how Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan do with the cinema-goers in the bad guy roles. It seems he saw, he decided, and sometime early in 2008 we will see Krrish 3.
Nazma: Do you know what the story of the next Krrish film will be? It has been said that we will see an evil Hrithik Roshan, is that true?Tony: As I reported few months ago, and then my answer to the above question, yes we will see an evil Hrithik Roshan. My sources say that the final script has not yet been written, but Papa Roshan wants something on the lines of what happened in Spider Man 2. Where Spidey decides not to be a super-hero anymore. 10 years have passed since the last Krrish episode. Krrish is now a full blown super-hero, and he is married to Priyanka Chopra’s character. He also has a young son. However, things turn for the worse when Krrish is unable to save his wife, because he is saving the world at the very same time. This, and some other things, make him turn bad. And soon the same Krrish that was saving the world, is destroying it. Krrish’s father, who is still alive, needs to do something. So he calls upon into space and to the one that started all this in the first place - Jadoo. Jadoo arrives back on earth, but this time in the guise of a human. He tries to reason with Krrish, but Krrish is having nothing of it. So Jadoo takes his powers away. Leaving Krrish with nothing. Remember, this is just what my sources are saying. But remember that the script is not written yet. And Papa Roshan wants a Hrithik v Hrithik battle also. So things could chance. So this brings me to a question, that I would like to ask all readers, “What kind of story would you like to see in the Krrish film?” - Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
Parry: Any further news on Don 2?
Tony: Yes indeed. Shah Rukh Khan wants to make the next installment. He will fund it and Farhan Akhtar is expected to direct. Shah Rukh Khan will reprise the role of Don, but this time there will be no Vijay. That’s because Don killed Vijay - remember? Instead of having Vijay, a script is being written so that another major star is paired against Shah Rukh Khan. The name running the rounds is Saif Ali Khan, who plays an FBI agent in America, thatis recruited by the CIA to locate Don. Don will have become a major problem for the Americans by then. The storyline will be of a more meaner Don and with an apprentice, the undercover CIA agent. Again - I open a question to you readers, “What storyline would you like to see the next Don film?”
Imran: Wow, you were right. Aamir Khan is going to be the super-cop in Dhoom 2. With Shah Rukh Khan as the bad guy. Any more spoilers for us?
Tony: Imran, Aamir Khan has yet to sign, but Shah Rukh Khan is close to signing. Neither actor is prepared to sign until they get to read the scripts, as neither actor wants a part that might diminish their star-status. But it seems that Aditya Chopra has got a water-tight script done, and what’s more, he will direct himself. My sources state that the film will only have less than a handful of scenes between the Khans. Uday Chopra might appear in the film, as will Aishwarya Rai, but there is no place for Abhishek Bachchan. I will have more on this next week.

Don 2 will be great because he is going to be the DON of all and he wont be working for anyone as he was in the first one and now he is wanted in america.. that sounds really interesting.. cant wait.. DHOOM 3 will be great n all coz itz going to be AAMIR VS SRK.. a chance to see who is/does better in the film and i really hope itz true.
I just hope that Krrish 3 is not going to be the same as superman 2 when the good in him was batteling the evil in him. Itis too familliar and too predictable. May he come with a better and original storyline. Will he turn back the time in order to save his wife like superman did trying to save Louise Lane. Please tell Rakesh Roshan to be more imaginative and original.
krrish, koi mil gaya…..were cocktails of so many hollywood movies(superman, spider man, batman, phantom etc etc). Damn even the krrish poster was a rip off from the ben affleck movie (blind super hero - sory forgot name). They have been really lucky as the indian audience is not really aware of the originals. but it cant last too long…need to be creative. if a krish sequel is ever made, please be creative and not just put so many hollywood movies in a blender and prepare a script.
i agree to all about krrish they should be more original and not copy hollywood films if they do a sequel.
don2 and dhoom 3 will be great cant wait for them i hope they both release in the same year that would be amazing- i heard dhoom 3 will release in 2008 not sure about don 2 though

My expectation of Krrish 3:
-I REALLY hope that Preity Zinta joins the movie again somehow! She did a amazing job in the last two ones, and there are more people out there who wants the same thing.
-No one should die in the upcoming movie..
I fink don 2 will be much better then the 1st don becasue vijay just makes it look tacky like the 1st 15 mins of the movie was great really bad boy movie then it just goes down hill after that, they need to make don more mean at the same time more cool like untouchble he needs to have more fiting sceans like 3 on 1 or more, and the other enemy should be an amriecan not another bollywood star.
Pleeeeeease don’t make krish and dhoom again. Krish was a rip off of so many hollywood movies and it is really embarassing to see the movie in USA. Dhoom 2 was the dumbest movie ever made. The movie was only one hr long. The rest of 1 and 1/2 hour were in slow motion HAhahahha. Looks like the stunts were made for people with learning disabilities. hehhehehe. Very embarassing to see such crap with your american friends.

I think The idea of Hrithik Vs. Evil Hrithik would not b a great idea coz everyone has seen Spiderman 3 and I would suggest tht this concept shud not b used coz it might stand in the success of Krrish 3.
