Aamir Khan to battle Shah Rukh in Dhoom 3?
It just gets better and better, that’s the rumour mill. Only today I find out that everyone is buzzing about a certain Mr. Khan being roped into playing the good guy in Dhoom 3. Yes, of course you already know that Shah Rukh Khan is being touted for the part of the bad guy, but that is not the only Khan that Aditya Chopra wants to create Dhoom with. He now wants Aamir Khan as the good cop!
How true this rumour is, I have no idea, but I am certain on one thing; Yash Raj Films want to go one better than Dhoom 2. They want to create more hungama and ensure another Box Office sell-out. And what better way to do it than get as many big names into the film as you possibly can.
Hrithik Roshan is what made Dhoom 2 click at the cinemas, but per Yash Raj bad-guy policy (that is not to repeat the same baddie in future films), he will definitely not feature in what now will become the Dhoom trilogy. So, Aditya needs to find a bad guy even badder than Hrithik Roshan, and he seems to have found one in Shah Rukh Khan. King Khan has not signed anything, but that is just a matter of time.
However, Aditya this time around might be ditching the combination duo of Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra, as he feels that movie lovers are getting a little tired of the pair. Abhishek Bachchan’s performance in Dhoom 2 was panned by critics, and Aditya is a little wary of repeating him as the good cop for the third time. And if Abhishek goes, then Uday will go too, as it is better to go for a new duo altogether.
Aditya has is eyes on Aamir Khan to play the cop, but as of yet is undecided on who will play the part of his sidekick, with the part being written out completely if he can’t find anyone good. Aamir Khan has been approached by Aditya, but as of now nothing has been decided, Aamir tends to take time when signing anything.
If Aditya does manage to get Aamir Khan on the cast, it will be a mouth-watering treat to wait for, as for many years Bollywood has longed to see the two Khans together on the big screen.

and this time It should be final Ending Of Dhoom From All the young Stars
i believe THe cast should be Abhi And Uday As Cops Like Before But They Should Be As Stylish As the Other Villans and in villans John And Hrithik Get Paired And this Time It will be more dhoom then Ever

I think this is from young people’s image. so far abhishek has done great job with a caluclated action. Abhi and uday should continue for Dhoom 3. I think bringing in new face for a villian role will be more exciting.
SRK will definiately live up to our expectations, he is bRILLIANT - he ws so FANTASTIC in DOn n he can definiately creat Dhoom. as for Abbi, i think he is brill too, he was really good in both the films n its a shame that Hrithik is getting all the credit coz Abbi was really good to bt it was clear than the directors totally focused on Hrithik n not too much on Abbi bt he still shone for me.
it would be really exciting to see Amir against SRK bt i don’t want Abi to be dumped… anyway, Dhoom 3 sounds too good, can’t wait for the anouncements, hope Kareena is replaced by Ash as well

SRK-Aamir IN Abhi/Uday OUT. This is a brilliant idea. Abhi/Uday were useless in Dhoom2. I don’t want to see a wooden faced Abhi bossing over Uday for no reason again.
But SRK-Aamir combo is toooooooooo good to be true. I doubt we will ever be able to see them together. I think this is false news. There is so much speculation about the actors in the film but who is the Director (We know Sanjay is not), What about the script? There was some news about Ranvir Kapoor in it as well.

Shah Rukh and Aamir in Dhoom3? Well lets just calculate the figures for a minute here. Shah Rukh and Aamir would probably take in about 8 cores each. Aish would probably take in 5 cores. Then you would need a side kick for Aamirs charecter (Arshad Warsi type) who would take in 2 cores. Of course you would need to give Aamir a love interest in this movie (Rani or Prety type) who would probably take 3 cores. The side kick also needs a love interest as well (Celina Jaitley type) 1 core the finaly an item girl (Koena Mitra type) who will take maybe 500 lakhs. So where is our total so far….oh yes 27.5 cores just for the main actors. Then you would add all the other actors and expences of makin the movie (Play back singers, directors, editors etc…) your budget will come to be well over 130 cores. Thats almost 30 million dollars American. It would be the most expensive bollywood movie ever made but it would also be the most profitable movies ever made in Bollywood. And the Chopras are the only ones who can bring the two Khans together. Whoever says that Shah Rukh and Aamir are too old for this role, will still wait in line to get tickets for them. Shah Rukh can play the bad guy really well (Darr, Anjaam, Don etc…) and Aamir is the only person who can catch this bad guy. So Aditya, i say go for it….you will make history in Indian Cinema….remember when Pacino and DeNiro got together in Heat….the only difference is, is that the results will be much more profitable….

Bringing in Aamir in D3 would be a good idea, for people who think they are too old is utter rubbish, they need to know how old is brad pit, tom cruise, new bond and other top notch holywood heros who are doing hard core action movies. Abyan has made a pretty much realistic estimate and i wonder if it would be possible to or feasible to make such an expensive movie, Hrithik is top notch in in D2 and for D3 you definitely need some one a step better than him and thats why Amir or Srk both could easily fit in, akshay kumar can be a good villain too but wonder if an one wants to see him in D3, Lets keep open minded and believe in YashRaj that what ever he would brought forward would be awesome n i believe he and his team is better analytics and judges than us.
I think the como is terrific and uday’s role can be taken up by arshad warsi, who can make people laugh with clever comedies and not uday’s bull s**t

In my previous comments, above, i had given a budget of 130 cores to make Dhoom 3 with Shahrukh and Aamir….that figure is a little off…what i mean to say was it will cost atleast 50 cores for the movie to be maid which is just over 10 million dollars U.S.

It would be a great movie.. but i don’t think it will ever happen. UNtil i see the trailer or the actual movie, i will not beleive the hype. PLus if it does happen it will be a shame if these two great actors finally come together in a movie genre of Dhoom style movies, with stunts and ‘ass’. i would prefer them to come ina movie where there is pure acting involved and a great script, but i guess any movie together is better then nothing.

Uday’s role was fantastic and Dhoom 3 required Abh against Srk and the reason u want Abhi out is simply coz u cannot face the humiliation on Srk’s face against Abhi’s outstanding performance. That’s what y r all afraid of!!!! FACE 2 FACE and let’s see who kicks his ASS OFF the Bollywood Hangama!!!

and another thing…..During the time Shahrukh was the rainning King….2 other super stars entered bollywood (Hritik and Vivek) and Shahrukh shut them down and now you rarely hear about them….and Abhi is nowhere close to Hritik and Vivek….The only thing Abhi has is a super star dad who is doing everything in his power to make Abhi the next Shahrukh. You have to understand that its not just Shahrukhs actin skills that has takin him into star status, its also his personality, his screen presence and dedication that he brings forth in every performance that has brought him to where he is now.

dude.. Abyan, he has presence.. i will give you that, i used to live srk alot kabhi haan, kabhi naa is his best movie, but after he went into his ‘romance movies’, his acting suffered big time. I do some production in hollywood man, and thats why i know he will not work in bollywood. Yes he can pull off Dhoom in India for sure, i dnt doubt that at all. Noone and i mean no indian actor has the Presence of Amitabh B i think.. especially in his prime, even if one watches his old movies now.. one waits for him to enter a movie more then any actor can. Srk is not an action figure.. tailored for hollywood. Just trust me in that. Abhishek at first was not so good but he performed better with each of his movies… and the credit goes to him and not his father.. he could have stayed in the same standards or not even bothered in inporving because he knew his dad would get him work. But he didnt do that.. and he improved intoa good actor.. not great yet but a good one and you can not deny that. Whereas Vivek has not improved for many years.. and if you say he has.. then you are fooling yourself.. Abishek is much better then Vivek in my opinion and he improved himself unlike VIvek which gets my respect. And although hollywood is not perfect.. we dont give awards for people for looking ‘cool’ or performing stunts.. which is happening for hritik at the moment.. good he is. but great he isnt yet.. and his awards are unjustified..
Good point John…I gotta agree with you there John…thats one thing i dont like about bollywood. They tend to give the best actor award to the movie which does the best business. For example this year, most likley Hritik will get it…and for what…using one liners and actin cool…

You right about another thing also…SRKs earlier work is much better then todays…I mean movies like Kabhi haan, Darr, Bazigar are way better then KKKG or KKHH….i mean his best work since his earlier days was probably Swades, Devdas or Pehali….but I dont watch SRK movies because of his actin skills anymore…..i watch them cuz his performance….i know hes a good actor so he doesnt have to prove it to me….I am very critical of actor….i mean i was one at one point…so i tend to judge every performance that an actor gives and ur right Abhi has gotten alot better since his earlier days but he the fact of the matter is, is that he doesnt have screen presense and thats what could hurt him in the long run. If you notice that he has one tone of voice for very dialog he throws…its all one tone….but i will say that In Guru he did shine….When i heard that he was gonna be in Guru…i thought Manni Ratnam was crazy for casting him….cuz the only person who could play that roll was SRK….but Abhi was prety good…But thats all he was….Pretty good…

Abyan.. i respect your views.. but Abhishek was great in Guru, not just pretty good. The question if SRK would be amazing is all theroy isnt it? There are no what if’s in life man, thats what makes life what it is. Maybe Srk would have been amazing.. or maybe he could have messed it up.. we will never know.. That way you can just say, what if Aamir was in Darr.. and in Kabhi haan, or SRk was in Jo Jeeta wohi Sikunder.. There is no point thinking of what if.. because on either sides you cant say exactly what would have happened. Maybe the economics would have been better in the beginning due to Srk’s fan base but then again if he was in the movie.. it would have turned out different in every aspect.. look at Dil se.. great movie but econimical it wasnt a big hit or anything.. I dnt beleive in what if’s.. that my opinion and i think i am right in that. But when comparing the same character DON.. Amitabh was the orginal and the much better in my opinion.. SRK as DON.. was one of the worst i seen SRK.. Over the top.. annoying, and he looked GAY in alot of the attire he was wearing.. In fact his last flop was Phir bhi dil hai hindustani which was in 2000 and his from his own production. And dil Se was a flop your right but not over seas….in fact over seas it was a hit…..The point i am tryin to make is that you dont achieve these hights by being over rated….it takes skill…it takes dedication and also commitment…….
Also you cant compare Amitjis Don with SRKs…cuz they were two different types of role…if SRK had tried to do the character like Amit ji then u can compare the two….

I do perfer SRKs older movies rather then its newer movies…but i would and every other die hard SRK fan would go see a SRK movie Whether its a Kabhi Haan type or a KANK type….the fact of the matter is,…is that no one can replace him….Dilip Kumar was replaced by Rajesh Kanna…Rajesh Khanna was relpaced By Amitabh…and now SRK has replaced all of these actor…because he can play the tragic role like Dilip Saab…the Romantic role like Mr. Khanna and now the action type like Amit Ji…

I dont really think dhoom 3 will be a success.It may be regarded as a C grade movie.Why not, just look at the star cast.Mr Adi Chopra, if you really want to make another success why not make a meaningful sequel by bringing back the young and smart superstars i.e Hrithik and John by making them an allied force and doing the bad jobs instead of bringing old and common stars aged above 40 such as Sharukh Khan and Aamir Khan.Mr Adi,you have created wonders by creating two superhit movies ie D1 and D2.Please dont let the Dhoom fans down by casting these actors in the third part.Please use the formula given to you by me and I am sure that this movie will not only be appreciated on the whole earth but in the whole universe too.Please dont let this ‘Aryan’ down.

I think my friend ARYAN had alittle too much to drink before he wrote his comment. Shahrukh and Aamir are the back bones of the film industry. The are the reason that bollywood is profitable. The last Flof Shahrukh displayed was one 2 ka 4 back in 99. And since then he has pumped hit after hit. Abyan Ryan i dont think you understand the demographics of india. There are 2 indias. Urban Market. ie big cities etc etc. And rural india, small towns etc etc.
Majority of people reside in small towns in india. ANd i can assure you that your MR SRK is not popular there. He is only popular in urban markets where being western is cool. Majority of indians do not reside there.
In popularity he will always get beaten by action stars if you count number of fans in india. His films make money because 80% of money is generated from urban markets. But if you just count FANS who watch films on TV and DVDs He will nowhere be close to Amitabh was in his heydays. His films were as popular to a rickshaw rider as they were to a professor. It didnt matter if you were in a big city or a remote town in india. Although SRK is a very good actor and and like him too but there is no comparison with big B. Imagine if Amitabh was the same age as Shahrukh now, what a difference he could made. Amith B. was tremendously versatile (as he’s now) having great acting skills ranging from strong dialogue delivery, heavy voice to matching gesticulation and good outlook. He performed every role with ease from action (Don, Shaan, Sholay, Kalia, etc.), serious/intense (Shakti, Deewar, Muqaddar ka sikandar, Lawaris, Kala Pathar, Trishol etc etc) and above all comedy (Do or Do Paanch, Satte pe Satta, Chalte Chalte and so forth) which SRK can’t do at all, always over act). AB films have such magnetism that every director want to make a remake. And I guess no one would like to make a remake of DDLJ KKHH or DTPH etc.
I think SRK comparison should made with Amir Khan. Who also very versatile and talented actorand in some areas, better than SRK.

I heard that Aamir is not interested cause he wants to play the bad guy. I think it would be great if they added like Amitabh as a senior cop and have Aamir and SRK be the bad guys. So its like a 3 way fight. Also u can have Priyanka Chopra as the bad girl with SRK. I think it will be a great hit if this works out but i doubt it will. Also don’t be worried if it doesn’t cause Aamir is directing a movie with him, SRK(main role) and salaman Khan.
aamir khan is the best actor…. not even amitabh, srk, and other old actors also…. am not saying it blindly, he his success rate its almost 100%….. ok ok every body are saying srk is the king khan.. let srk combat with aamir he will prove his talent….. he has already proved in lagaan against veer zhaara and swades…..

Aamir Khan And SRK are the two new faces in the Dhoom series, Abhishek Bacchhan gets fired (He is there in the movie) By a top senior cop and is replaced by Aamir as he could not catch SRK in his mission, Than Aamir feels sorry for him but than he starts his mission, But as SRK finds Aamir in the movie to tough to escape with, He manages to contact Both John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan for the most toughest mission, Now Aamir finds this trio too tough to handle so he asks for the help of the exiled Abhi and Uday (Uday was there as his sidekick)….Now this will spark off the most dramatic scene in Bollywoods History ! And There should be only 2 actress in this movie , 1 for the baddie and 1 for the goddie (Let her be for Uday,Coz Aamir is better of without a chick and Abhi’s wife can be Rimi sen but she will have a guest appearance)….I know this will become a very expensive film , But if u remember Ocean 11 and 12 and the coming Oceans 13, The biggest stars of Hollywood agreed to cut down their wage(Brad pitt,George clooney,Catherine zeta-jones), So will they all agree here but ?, I guess no coz such a idea can never come in any Yash chopras camp, So let apply for the script writer post lol, Even Salman Khan can be a great choice for the baddie but !
If Amir signs for the cop role and versus SRK, i think it’ll be a awesome Movie ! and perhaps Amir is working in the bollywood for many years and he’s also a good actor. And for public, it’ll be more better because more people will come to see this movie and expect more from Amir and Shah Rukh, that how their performance gonna be. So i think Dhoom-3 is gonna rock ! and also there should be no dance around and all cause i think Hrithik is the best Dancer, perhaps there should be more BIKES ! MORE SUSPENCE ! more COMEDY ! so that people shoudn’t get bore not for a second ! and MORE Actions. DHoom Machaale !

Dhoom series is about action. 3 suggestions
1) Abhishek gets killed by SRK and Hritik Roshan avenges his death (Hritik was class in Dhoom2 so lets see him chase the bad guy using his gadgets)
2) I say Aamir khan good cop and Shahrukh the baddie or vice versa they both would do justice to any role given.
3) Shahrukh good cop and Akshay Kumar the baddie. SRK was fantastic in Main hoon na chasing the bad guy. Akshay is the best when it comes to action n kicks arse.
Amitabh vs Shahrukh khan
Amitabh Bachchan was a one man show and only crowd puller in his days without competition from any other actor in his league. Even now in his 60s hes on demand. He has carried out all kinds of roles and not to forget the only actor with more double roles than any1 else. This builds up on experience doing all kinds of roles n a challenging career.
SRK has competition from Aamir, Salman, Hritik and Abhishek. He may deliver superhit films but has not acheived what Amitabh Bachchan did in his days. I cant see Shahrukh even hitting 60 and still being on top like Amitabh is these days.
So please stop being childish people n acept Amitabh Bachchan is best of the best and outclasses SRK.
man it’ll b great and an awesome movie to watch and if there r two khans working in a movie already then aditya chopra should add 1 more khan the herat throb SALMAN KHAN if aditya chopra succeeds in it then he would b the very first person to cast 3Ks in a movie and it can be excellent way of creating DHOOM one ore time.

AAMIR KHAN always ROCKS. SRK is not as good as aamr in any filed of acting. AAMIR WILL AGAIN DOMINATE AGAINST SRK AS HE DOMINATED IN THE PAST WITH SALMAN KAHN IN ANDAZ APNA APNA. SALMAN IS GOOD FOR NOTHING. Pls go ahead to produce the film asap. Aamir is the best actor i have ever seen on the giant screen.
