Dhoom 2: Yash Raj’s biggest opening

Its dhoom time at the box office as the Yash Raj Films’ latest offering opened to full house all across the nation. Dhoom is proving to be in a prospective league of the blockbuster hits of 2006. Dhoom has started earning huge revenue for Yash Raj Films. The first week records are incredible for the movie. It is doing amazingly well at most of the circuits.

It is easily the biggest opening ever for a Yash Raj Film.

However, the first week collections have been affected as Dhoom 2 is still not playing at the multiplexes. PVR and Yash Raj Films are yet to resolve their issues; hence, the film is not showing at the multiplexes even for the second week of its release, i.e. 1st December. This has resulted in a loss of approx 2 crores for Yash Raj Films, while, PVR is lagging behind other one-screen cinema halls.
