Shweta and Manav Gohil out of Nach Baliye 2

The most controversial Jodi, Shweta and Manav Gohil bid adieu to Nach Baliye 2 (Star One) this Monday night. The jodi which had been earlier involved in the SIM card controversy lost due to less audience votes in their favour. Manav Gohil won the best performer award in today’s show, though Shweta’s performance was criticised heavily.

The combined score was 58, lowest for the couple and their chances of making it through were bleak.

“We never expected to win the contest, as the audience was never on our side. We tried our level best to get appreciation from the judges”. There have been specualtions regarding the couple’s scandolous efforts of extracting more votes from the audience.

At the announcement of the results, judges Mallaika, Saroj Khan were left with tears in their eyes and kunal dumb-founded, as today Manav won the Natraja trophy from Saroj Khan for his performance.

The result came as a sudden jolt at such a crucial stage of the reality show where now only four couples are left, namely, Tanaaz-Bakhtiar, Hussain-Tina, Yash-Gouri and then at fourth, Hiten and Gauri.
