Shilpa Shetty’s Metro unveiled at IFFI

On Monday, Shilpa Shetty starrer Metro was introduced at the International film festival of India in Goa. Anurag Basu’s latest offering also stars Shiney Ahuja, Kangana Raunat along with Irfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, K.K. Menon and Sharman Joshi. A short trailer of the forthcoming release was screened at the film festival.

After the screening, producers, UTV, Anurag Basu, Shilpa, Shiney Ahuja and Kangana were present for the audience interaction session. Talking about the movie, Basu said, “(its) A celebration of life. Metro is a fun, musical film about people coping with fast-paced city life.” The other stars discussed about their roles in the flick. The movie generally deals with the high-pace and cut-throat competition of Metro life.

This was Shiney Ahuja’s first film festival. For Shilpa it was her first IFFI, though she had been to Cannes before.
