Bollywood enters Pakistan next year

Music has no boundaries! The boundaries will dissolve for Indian cinema as well. Indian films will be screened in Pakistan from next year. The government of Pakistan in one of its most historic decisions has allowed the import and screening of Indian films in Pakistan from next year.

Pakistani daily Dawn quoted the Government’s decision and that a formal notification regarding it will be issued as early as January next year. The step taken by the Pakistan Government seems to have come across as a positive sign towards the improvement of the countries’ relations.

The import of Indian cinema into Pakistan will be started as soon as the joint Indo-Pak venture ‘Godfather’ is released in both the countries on Eid-ul-azha next year. Definitely a positive step!
