Hrithik to replace Abhishek in Delhi 6

Hrithik Roshan has replaced Abhishek Bachchan in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s forthcoming venture Delhi 6.

After Rang De Basanti, Mehra has plans of starting Delhi 6, which was based on his his own life during his childhood in Delhi. According to sources close to the development, Abhishek Bachchan has walked out of the film due to some differences. “Bachchan’s production house AB Corp wanted to co-produce the film with UTV. However, things didn’t pan out like that and hence Abhishkeh backed out of the film,” says the source.

Hrithik couldn’t be contacted, however, his secretary Ashok Vashodia says, “Verbally Hrithik has said OK to Rakeysh Mehra and he is doing Delhi 6. The paper work is remaining now and after a final sitting with Rakeysh, we will decide when to start it.”
