IIFA wins South-Asian Event award

Bollywood is trekking greater heights each year. This time the Indian Oscars a.k.a International Indian Film Academy (I..I.F.A.) has won the prestigious award of Best International South-Asian Event.

This was awarded to IIFA on account of its contribution in the international promotion of Indian films. It was presented by Professor David Flint of Triangle Media Group.

Earlier this month, IIFA brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan was honoured with his name being enlisted in the International Finance Facility for Immunisation, first for any international celebrity. Meanwhile, IIFA weekend in Yorkshire was announced at the house of commons, London.
