How should a star react when he’s voted the gay icon? Well…. may be acknowledge.
That is exactly what Bollywood’s current hearthrob did. Abhishek was recently voted as the new gay icon in Mumbai. The recent polls conducted in Mumbai took the opinion of the gay community here. Abhishek was the top favourite among the voters.
Even after being embarrased by such a thick gay following, Abhishek seemed flattered with it. “I don’t know how to react to this. Any kind of recognition is a blessing. I don’t believe in discriminating against any people,” Abhishek said. Truly! An honour is an honour!

Ha Ha! They obviously like his look, shirt and dance in dhoom 2 - right from the start I’ve been telling everyone he looks gay (even though he probably isn’t)!! LOL
Glad to hear he took it in his stride. I don’t rate him *that* highly (I’m female btw) but he’s right, any recognition is good recognition. All the best to him!
