Legendary Jagjit-Gulzar duo to recreate magic

From the alluring power of the soulful lyrics of Gulzar to the immortal voice of Jagjit Singh. The combo can be both mesmerising and nostalgic at the same time. The finest musical geniuses come together for their second album Koi Baat Chale (Sony BMG), after a long gap of seven years.

Speaking on the album, Gulzar says, “we go back to the days of the serial Mirza Ghalib. In this album, I have worked with Triveni - a three-lined form of poetry that is a challenge not just to write but also to compose and sing. But Jagjit has done justice to it”. Jagjit was all praises for Gulzar for providing something new to every ghazal in the album. He says, “we want to show a different side of ghazals and who could do that better than Gulzar saab?”

The first album of the legendary duo was Marasim, which created waves in the music market. The new album Koi Baat Chale has been recently released in the market.
