Farhan decides to start acting after abysmal Don
After being panned by critics for the abysmal Don, director Farhan Akhtar has decided to shift careers, and will soon be seen in a film.
The director has decided to go in-front of the camera for Anand Surapur’s Fakit. In the film Farhan will play a production controller who is given a special assignment to take a fakir (played by Annu Kapoor) to Venice. The fakir is part of a human exhibition there.
Farhan and wife Adhuna are expecting their second child in February. “I’m excited about fatherhood. And since this is our second time as parents, we’ve be careful that our daughter Shakiya doesn’t feel neglected,” says Farhan.

not only this website but others are also gone nutts to spread lies about DOn. I didn’t watch the movie first week because these crtics were begging people not to watch don. We went to see the movie second week and boy oh boy all these crtics were damn liars. Don rocks! and is much better than Old stale Don.

HE IS STILL A DIRECTOR AND ALWAYS WILL BE BUT HE IS BECOMING AN ACTOR TOO. HE IS YOUNG, HE IS CHARMING, HE IS HANDSOME, CHARISMATIC. Stylish…TALENTED, SO WHY WONT HE if any xyz star son can?
The movie , his acting debut is called THE FAKIR and not fakit or anything. The script is very novel and not kind of films that gets made very frequently, so Farhan agreed to it, and this thing was fixed before don.
Don is a very good movie in its own right, with today’s star cast and available talents, farhan ahs made the best out of it, he cant make amitabh younger again or bring kishor from dead but as a director he has done his job well. If bachan and helen and star cast was a strong case thr, thr were many loopholes and amaturity(like plot or tech) in the original don too and farhan has covered it choosing srk, the curent best star on bollywood. Moreover its similar but not same and is a masala flick, an entertainer which is meant to entertain and it does just tht, its not a serious reflective movie, farhan ahs given tht kind priorly and this says he is versatile. At worst one might conclude original was lil better or something but don isnt a bad movie at all, its also very good in its own way and its a a big hit and people love it.I thin k thats what matter, stop and jumping into conclusion or writing someone’s obituary ona drop of hat. Your extreme negative comments doesnt make sense at all.Wait for his next movie which is a fully original script and is abt a 10 yr old boy and his acting debut, he will do wonders as always and yes he did don not since he was short of ideas but to fulfill a childhood dream of interpreting the story his own way, like what use is if some don says confidently - don ko pakadna namumkin hai and gets caught and dies, he has changed tht here.
Farhan is perfect and best personally and professionally.
