Don is at number 13 in the UK
What happened to Shah Rukh Khan’s power in the UK? For the first time after many a year, a highly promoted film of his has failed to enter the Top 10 Box Office chart. Don has come in at 11 and this week it stands two places down at 13. It may have had record collections and an outstanding per screen average, but what will remain on paper, is - Shah Rukh Khan failed to get into the TOP 10!!!
Currently Don collections stand at £1,032,382 (nearly 9 crores). This is good and probably even better than his other films takings at this stage. But the film has failed to enter the charts at a prominent position. Keep in mind that Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Ghum came in at number 3, and that too at a busy Christmas period, when American movies releases are at their prime. Even Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna managed to enter the Top 10.
What are your thoughts on this… do you think not entering the top 10 makes a difference… could the film have fared better had it not been released during the Eid/Diwali period? Was it over the top promotion that effected this? Or are you happy with the collections and the entry position?

Stop crticising SRK, films like DON are mostly liked in hollywood and for young people and i have to say this is the best film i saw this year and i am waiting for DON2, DON is not a in and out typical family or a love story film it is a action film which is why some people didnt like it, but most enjoyed it, at the end at least it was on 11.. DON KI DUSHMAN KI SUBSE BARI GALTETE YEH HAI, KYUN WOH DON KI DUSHMAN!
DON was horrible.. i live in Hollywood, so to say it was liked here, is stupid. Really bad movie, and i will not even talk about the horrible acting in the movie. Amitabh is the true Don, and Khan is just trying to be like him, but he can’t because he is Not good enough.

I LOVE DON AND I GIVE SHAH RUKH KHAN PROPS FOR DOING IT AND DOING IT BETTER THATS Y IT DID SO GOOD AT THE BOXS OFFICE.
