Aishwarya cries after watching her performance
Bollywood starlet and former Miss World, the ever-wonderful Aishwarya Rai, has shed tears after watching her dreadful performance in a special early screening of Umrao Jaan.
The film’s director J. P. Dutta held a special show of the film, which releases to the general public this coming Friday, at Film City for the Rai and Bachchan families. A source close to the Dutta team said “After watching the film, Aishwarya got so upset the she had tears in her eyes”.
One other source stated “Aishwarya was upset at her bland and un-watchable performance that she started to cry so much and extra tissues had to brought into the theatre”.
Today however Aishwarya was out and about, visiting the Siddhi Vinayak temple, to obtain blessings on her 33rd birthday.
We hope that the audience do appreciate Aishwarya’s huge effort in this epic remake, and that the film is received well at the box office. However, it has stiff competition from DON and Jaan-E-Mann, as many people have still to go and watch these two films because of the Eid/Diwali holidays.
What do you make of Aishwarya Rai and her 33rd birthday. Is she getting old and has she lost the sparkle of becoming Queen of Bollywood? Many Indian actresses peak during their mid-20’s, Aishwarya is in her mid-30s, has she missed the boat? Or will Umrao Jaan revive her career?

Watched teh special screening of umrao jaan, god the movies sucked , the only good thing is the villan, aish and abhi they need acting lesson like lisa ray at least now lisa ray can act.
This all sounds to me like a big rubbish, lets just wait to watch the movie first n iam sure Aish has done a brilliant job. She is very happy about her role in this movie, as she has mentioned it in all her interviews, SORRY TO DISAPPOINT THE WRITER. Get your facts right before posting such a ridicolous made up story.

I saw the Film, And it is pale in comparison with the older Umrao Jaan. One of the most boring films I’ve seen in a long time…it was a pain to get through.Umrao Jaan 1981 was a beautiful film… the new film is a wasted experiance. Directors need to give up on remaking old Hit Films…in an effort to remake the film, its been completely destroyed. The songs are a drag…Aish is hyped too much and looks rather old not a patch on Rekha.
YEH THE FILM WAS BORING. it was too long!!! Aish looked at odds due to bad makeup, trying to make her look like a white girl, too much make up for some reason. i think the new girl kangana renaut or vidya balan could done a better job, even priyanka chopra

everyone agrees that the only good thing in the movies Aihswarya’s performance. all of u who say she cannot act are stupid and are in no place to judge……
just because a movie flops, doesn’t mean the actor is bad.
But i do believe she has had her share of bad movie choices.
