Mona Singh wins Sony’s Jhalak Dikhla Jaa

‘Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi’ beauty Mona Singh has walked away with the winning prize in Sony Entertainment Television Asia’s succesful dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’.

She was crowned the dancing queen title after a grand finale showdown, last night, between her and fellow actress Shweta Salve.

‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ Dancing with the stars aired on Sony TV brought some of India’s famous personalities together to do something they have never done before, dance and compete.

The show featured some of India’s well known personalities like cricketer Ajay Jadeja, celebrity chef Sanjiv Kapoor, TV actors Mona Singh, Shweta Salve and Akashdeep Sehgal along with TV diva and talk show host Pooja Bedi, film actor Rati Agnihotri and filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar.

Judging the show were celebrities from different walks of life. On the judges panel were acclaimed filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bollywood choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan and Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.
