I had a question about Aishwarya Rai and her association with Yash Raj. She is doing well for herself with big banners in Umrao Jaan, Jodha Akbar, Dhoom 2, and Guru. However, Yash Chopra has a contract with her to do a full-fledged role under the direction of him. Is she finally going to do a film with him or not? I know she rejected Veer Zaara. Please let me know if you have heard anything about a future potential Yash Raj project - Gary
Tony: Yash Chopra is still working on the script which is also being looked at by his son Aditya Chopra. Yash Choprra understands today that he has grown older and hence cannot competitively understand the market needs, which Aditya Chopra does. Adi goes with scripts to various stars and figures it out. Ash is looking for a meaty role at the moment. If Yash has one in his next film, she may do it.

Where is Karisma Kapoor staying in Mumbai. When will we get to see her daughter’s picture… Also the play school she attends. Whats Karisma’s average day like now - Sarika
Tony: Karisma stays at Bandra opposite Mehboob Studios. Karisma is meeting producers and directors and will do something only if she has a great role in a film, or great money on TV. As for the picture, I found this… not sure if it is her daughter though. Can anyone confirm.

I am in love with Vidya Balan, I think she is the best thing since sliced bread. I want to marry her. Can you arrange it for me - Saajan
Tony: Hmmm. I am not sure. Let me SMS her and ask her if she is interested. Wait…. [two minute silence untill Vidya replies]. I am sorry Saajan yaar, Vidya says she can’t marry you. You compared her to bread. It’s usually best to compare girls with stuff like gold and flowers. Make sure of that next time you fall in love with a Munna Babe.

Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerjee are my two favourite STARS. Wouldn’t you agree they make a stunning pair. Do they have any movies together after KANK. Does SRK have a leading lady opposite him in “CHAK DE”, besides Vidya Malvade, ‘coz I don’t think they paired together in the movie - Naveena
Tony: There are 16 girls in Chak De. SRK is paired with none of them as he is their coach. Knowing that the movie is from the Yash Raj camp, we may find a big Bollywood actress making a guest appearance. Rani and SRK don’t have any movies currently with each other. And yes I do think they make a stunning pair, but I would still give my right arm to see SRK with Kajol.

Me again. I’ve been reading and hearing that Isha Koppikar’s character is a new addition to DON. Well don’t think it’s NEW ‘coz ANITA is very much there in the original (AB/Zeenat starrer) too. Only she doesn’t get much scope, ‘coz after the “Maine hoon Don” song, she enters the hall with her hands and mouth bound by the imposter (Vijay), since she’s the one who discovers that Don is “fake”, and Vijay locks her in a room and just then there’s the police raid………….and ANITA is history. She’s neither seen nor mentioned anytime thereafter. AND by the way she too was the girlfriend of the real DON. Only diff this time, I think ANITA’s stay in the movies is much longer and a lot more interesting. Just can’t wait for the release of the Movie. I think even Amitabh Bachchan’s gonna be proud of KING KHAN. He’s sure to rock in and as DON - Naveena
Tony: Yes. Anita was there in Don always. But yes, Isha Koppikar’s role has been extended as this Don is 50 per cent different from the earleir Don. In the 1978 version starring Bachchan, Arpana Chaudhary played the role of Anita and it was much shorter than what Isha has in Don.

Tony: No no no, I can’t tell you who dies, because if I did then it would be probably be me that dies. And if I am dead then how will you love me. Wait for the film, it’s not long now.

Akshay Kapoor has acted brilliantly in Alag – the screenplay – the cinematography is done very well – how can this movie be compared to the glossy run around the trees – when in actual fact this movie is different – it is really well made. Well done to the team who put it together – well done to Akshay for having played such a good role, a role that suited him to the “T” Furthermore, I cannot believe that this movie had such a bad rating when in actual fact if this movie does not take an award - Fazila

Tony: Yes very hot news indeed. Ash was in Dubai shooting for a commercial for Rohan Sippy. You must remember that she fell out with Rohan when he replaced her without telling her in Bluffmaster with Priyanka Chopra. She had earlier worked in Rohan’s film Kuch Na Kaho. And just to make this exclusive news even more exclusive, the following is a photo from the shoot.

I heard a rumour that Akshay Kumar may be in Saif Ali Khan and Rani starrer Tara Rum Pum - Sweety
Tony: What you heard actually might be true. I have tried approaching the producers, but you know Yash Raj, they never say anything. But they did not deny it… so you never know. Would be great to see Rani Mukherji and Akshay Kumar together though.
